Hello there! My cosplay name is ArJayEm and welcome to my webpage.

About Me

I (officially) started cosplaying when I attended Cosplay Mania 2018, but I cosplayed characters wayback since 2011 when I cosplayed my Original Character (image A) where the theme is to use recycled materials for the costume (old cardboard boxes, bottles, etc.). I also cosplayed War Machine Mk 1 (gotta find images) & 2 (image B) on 2013 during my college's foundation day parade.

Since my first official convention, I also attended Cosplay Mania 2019. I really wanted to continue doing cosplay for the next coming years but then the pandemic happened, so 2020 (and 2021) was (mostly) skipped. I really expected 2021 to be the year for cosplay events could come back and finally on December they attempted to do Cosplay Matsuri. I did not let myself miss that since I prepared my next cosplan 11 months prior.

Ozine Halloween Fest 2022 Day 2

Oct 29 - Oct 30 2022

Attended: Day 2

Our first halloween cosplay event attended, but with the same people I am with last cosplay event last Cosplay Mania Day 2 (Team Labas Mania). Had pics not just with each of our own cosplays but as a Ghost Cosplay Group. Then celebrated the birthday of one of our photographers by having dinner that night.

Cosplay Mania 2022

Oct 01 - Oct 02 2022

Attended: Days 1 & 2

We cosplayed as the Kamado siblings on Day 1! It was my daughter's idea to cosplay Nezuko and I just tagged along 😂.

On Day 2, I did my first trap cosplay as (short haired) Zero Two. Sadly, I don't have a ticket (scalpers 😤), but i enjoyed it more since I was Team Labas that day. Met new cosers and became friends with new people, took photos. Not gonna lie, I think that was more memorable and more fun to do. I'll definitely do it again in future cons.

Anime and Cosplay Expo 2022

Jul 16 - Jul 17 2022

Attended: Days 1 & 2

A dream come true for my daughter to cosplay as Anya Forger, one of her favorite characters, and me as Loid Forger on Day 1, then on the second day as Tatsu and Himawari from The Way of the Househusband. She was so energetic as Anya that I can't keep up with her as she run around.

Someone gave her a big penguin stuffed toy and I wasn't able to thank the person coz I didn't see him/her, in a split second I went to our belongings on the floor near a wall. She was so happy with the penguin that she hugged it for the rest of the day.

A lot of people took pictures with us she said people are calling her cute and I think she liked that. I don't have plans on wearing a cosplay twice but I think we go as Loid and Anya again in the future.
